Norengros Kjosavik and Loopfront have entered into a strategic partnership to help companies succeed with circular economy.

Equinor has become a customer in the partnership and will implement the solution in its renovation project at Forus—a project considered as one of Norway’s most ambitious initiatives for the systematic reuse of furniture and fixtures.

Through this partnership, Norengros Kjosavik’s expertise in interior design solutions, repair, and logistics is combined with Loopfront’s digital platform for circular resource management.

The first joint project is being carried out in collaboration with Equinor as part of the renovation of the company’s office locations at Forus.

Making circular economy profitable

for Norwegian companies

Organizations in both the public and private sectors hold significant value in their existing furniture and fixtures, but often lack an overview of what resources they have and how they can be better utilized.

Through Loopfront’s digital platform, Norengros Kjosavik can help customers inventory, register, and manage furniture and fixtures, ensuring that existing resources are reused before new products are purchased. This results in lower procurement costs, reduced waste, and lower climate emissions, while also allowing companies to document the impact of reuse.

"An increasing number of customers want concrete solutions that combine sustainability with cost-effectiveness. Our partnership with Loopfront enables us to offer a comprehensive service that gives customers an overview of their own assets and a better basis for decision-making regarding reuse. In this way, we can contribute to both reduced costs and more circular resource management.”

Purpose

Equinor’s refurbishment project at Forus will be part of this collaboration. The project involves 5,000 workstations, which will be refurbished between 2027 and 2030.

Norengros Kjosavik is assisting with the inventory and registration of existing furniture, temporary storage, repairs, and logistics using Loopfront’s digital platform.

The project aims to ensure that as much of the existing inventory as possible can be reused and repaired rather than replaced with new products.

With its scope and systematic approach to digital inventory and reuse, the project sets a new standard for how renovation projects can be carried out using circular principles.

"Reuse is about seeing the value in the resources that already exist. Together with Norengros Kjosavik, we’re making it easier for companies to make data-driven decisions that reduce costs, CO₂ emissions, and waste. We are proud that Equinor is a customer in this partnership, and we look forward to helping even more organizations realize the value that already exists in their own buildings and storages."

A partnership to make reuse easy

The partnership between Norengros Kjosavik and Loopfront is based on a shared ambition to make circular economy easier to implement in practice. By combining consulting, logistics, and digital tools, customers receive a comprehensive solution that enables them to preserve existing assets, reduce resource consumption, and document the results.

Both companies expect the collaboration to contribute to increased reuse in both public and private sectors, and see significant potential for scaling the solution to more customers and larger projects in the coming years.
