Tønder Municipality Chooses Loopfront for Reuse of Furniture and Building Materials

The municipality of Tønder in Denmark has entered into an agreement with Loopfront to use the digital platform for reuse of furniture, fixtures, and building materials.

36,000 residents and more than 3,800 employees will use Loopfront to gain a better overview of available resources, support internal reuse, and document the economic and environmental benefits.

Tønder Municipality Systematizes Reuse

Tønder Municipality will use Loopfront’s internal marketplace for furniture and fixtures, which can be made available across the organization, so that existing resources can be reused before new purchases are made.

famLoopfront will provide an overview of available materials, support reuse transactions, and continuously report on savings achieved.

The agreement is the result of a thorough procurement process in Tønder Municipality. As part of the evaluation, future users were also involved and given the opportunity to provide input on the choice of solution.

Documentation of reuse
Loopfront will support the municipality in the implementation and ongoing use of the platform.

The solution will provide an ongoing overview of reuse activities and document, among other things, avoided procurement costs, CO₂ savings, and reduced waste volumes.
